More and more I am thinking that the reason the studios are refusing to budge is because any deal other than the workers unconditional surrender would require the studios to make streaming numbers public so workers know what fair pay is, and companies have been lying about streaming numbers so much that making the real numbers public could result in lawsuits and possible criminal charges from the investors they’ve defrauded.
There has been an outpouring of public support for unions the past few years I don’t think the execs would refuse to even make a counter offer unless there was more going on.

This is called parahawking! That vulture is tame – it’s wearing jesses (a leather tie around the leg that a falconer will use to hold a bird when it’s on the glove). In fact that vulture is employed. Parahawking birds seek out thermals the same way they would naturally, allowing paragliders to follow them in the process.
Vultures are often used for parahawking both because of their attraction to thermals, and because vultures, as scavengers, are comparatively gentler and more sociable than birds of prey!

You don’t “play” a Bethesda game. You either install 400+ mods and then play it for ten hours and get bored, or you install 400+ mods and sink like 600 hours into it. Both of these then have a cooldown of between 6 - 12 months until you take either path again. I don’t make the rules, that’s just how it is.
hatred of disabled people doesn’t have to be blatant:
complaining about “people who walk slowly”
calling people with specific dietary restrictions needy/fakers/high-maintenance/etc.
insinuating someone isn’t responsible if they’re “living in their parents’ basement”/some variation thereof
insinuating that students with disabilities are actually “cashing in on special treatment”
praising what are basically snuff films about disabled characters
defending the casting of abled people for disabled roles
defending paying us lower wages
And it’s not just comments from other people, it’s the government denying things such as healthcare specifically for their disability. My mom has to fight tooth and nail just so that she can verify that my brother actually needs his wheelchair. He has muscular dystrophy. He hasn’t been able to walk since he was 10 and never will be able to walk again, but apparently the government doesn’t understand that.
